Comprehensive and Cost Effective Assessments

Services for Brain Injury is unique in providing comprehensive and cost-effective assessment services designed specifically for the brain-injured population. These services help to accurately determine potential for employment and/or program/support needs.

The Vocational Assessment and Functional Capacities Evaluation examine a wide range of cognitive and work skills, with results and recommendations focused on the client's strengths, as well as barriers to successful employment. If further evaluation of job readiness is deemed appropriate, the Situational Assessment provides practical application of the client's work skills in a short-term external or simulated work environment.

Combination Assessment

• Cost effective
• Uses both Functional Capacities Assessments and Vocational Assessments to provide a full picture of a client's capabilities, aptitude, and readiness for employment.

Situational Assessments

• External - Paid work skills evaluations in community setting is accordance with Functional Capacities and Vocational Assessments recommendations. Designed to evaluate the job readiness of clients.
• Simulated - Unpaid work skills evaluation in simulated business setting. Designed to evaluate job readiness of clients who have not had previous Functional Capacities Evaluations and Vocational Assessments.
